Event Description

Many of us think of "honeybees" when we hear the word pollinator, but there are lots more flying, buzzing, and fluttering helpers doing the important work of pollinating our food crops and plants. Come learn about the variety of pollinators in our area, and a little bit about beekeeping, too, to celebrate National Pollinator Month in June with Wednesday @ Will. Rick Schantz, Acting President of the Central Oklahoma Beekeepers Association, will present an introduction to basic beekeeping and helpful information for gardeners on the various pollinators we rely on.
