KGOU has opportunities to begin serving the communities of

• Woodward and northwest Oklahoma
• Ada
• Chickasha

In Woodward and Ada, KGOU has received permission from the FCC to build new stations, with federal grants available for partial funding. In Chickasha, permission has been granted for a translator, a smaller type of station that reaches a smaller geographical area.
