NPR buttonKGOU Preparing for Fall Membership Drive
Button Giveaway for Online Pledges!
In just a few weeks, the staff of KGOU will take to the airwaves, once again asking for your financial support for great programs that keep you informed or entertained each time you listen.

This fall, we're adding a little twist to the drive, and we'll be telling you about it next week. We're excited and we think you will be, too.
Citizens of a democracy need reliable sources of news and information in order to make informed decisions in the voting booth. We hope you agree that KGOU contributes in a meaningful way to an informed, educated and enlightened electorate. And, we hope you will either continue or begin your support this fall.

Existing members who usually donate in the fall will be receiving renewal notices in the mail soon, and you can help us kick off the fall drive by renewing early. The image above is one of five designs for campaign-style buttons that NPR is providing to stations. See all five designs here. As an added incentive, we'll send one of these buttons (chosen at random) to the first 100 people who pledge online.

This racially and economically diverse town has a history of racial struggles, but residents say things are improving. Listen from the archives at NPR.org.
