Apples, Pumpkins ... And Pawpaws: The Fall Harvest Fruit You Might Not Know Exists

It’s apple and pumpkin season in much of the country. But, there’s another food that signals autumn: pawpaws. Pawpaws are a regional delicacy that have gone from obscure local fruit to “hipster banana.”

Ally Schweitzer (@allyschweitzer) from WAMU visited a Maryland pawpaw orchard to get a taste.
