The chief operating officer of BOK Financial Corp. has resigned after 12 years with the company and will move back to Texas to pursue other opportunities.
The Tulsa World reports the company announced Dan Ellinor's resignation on Friday.
Before joining BOK Financial, Ellinor had a 20-year banking career in Texas. He maintains a house in that state and says he wants to return to be near family and pursue entrepreneurial opportunities.
In 2013, the bank named Ellinor its chief operating officer.
The company says it doesn't plan to fill the COO position.
