New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin have toured the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum.
The two governors were at the site of the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing Wednesday in advance of a Republican Governors Association meeting and a fundraising event for Fallin. Christie is the chairman of the Republican Governors Association.
Christie did not speak to the media afterward. Prior to the tour, Fallin told The Associated Press she thinks everyone who visits Oklahoma City should tour the museum to understand the impact of the bombing of the Oklahoma City federal building on the community. The bombing killed 168 people and injured hundreds more.
Fallin is running for re-election to a second term in office. She faces Democratic state Rep. Joe Dorman.
