The preliminary hearing has again been delayed for a former physician assistant charged in the deaths of two patients at the Claremore Veterans Center.
Kenneth Adams was due in court Tuesday for a preliminary hearing, but the case has been delayed until March 11-12.
Adams was indicted by an Oklahoma multicounty grand jury on two felony counts of second-degree murder — or the alternative charge of second-degree manslaughter. He was also indicted for neglect by a caretaker.
The indictment accuses Adams of caretaker neglect in March 2012 that led to the death of 86-year-old Louis Arterberry. He's also accused of committing caretaker abuse in May 2012 that led to the death of 85-year-old Peter "Jay" Minter.
Adams' attorney has said his client is innocent of the accusations.
