State officials say Oklahoma's unemployment rate remained unchanged at 4.7 percent last month.

The Oklahoma Employment Security Commission says the state added 3,800 jobs last month — or more than 34,000 jobs since September 2013.

Six industry sectors posted job gains with the biggest jump coming in leisure and hospitality, which added 4,000 jobs. The leisure sector has the largest annual job gain at more than 9,300 for the year.

The trade, transportation and utilities sector posted the largest decrease with a drop of 1,700 jobs.

Oklahoma's unemployment rate remains well below the national jobless rate of 5.9 percent.
