Investigators have recovered what could be possible items of evidence as they comb an area of McClain County in hopes of discovering more remains of a 37-year-old bounty hunter who disappeared in 2002.
Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Jessica Brown said Thursday that it's too soon to tell the significance of what's been found at the site near Blanchard.
Brown says authorities have also received some phone calls that could yield "promising leads" in the case of Troy Neidhart, who authorities believe may have been murdered.
Partial remains found in McClain County in 2004 were identified in 2006 by the state Medical Examiner's Office as being Neidhart, but the case has languished for several years.
Brown says authorities will continue to search the site Friday.
