It's been nearly 20 years since a bomb destroyed the Alfred P. Murrah federal building in downtown Oklahoma City. The aftermath of the tragedy continues to reverberate through the city and shape the character of the state.
Friday morning at 11 a.m. KGOU will debut a new documentary called That April Morning: The Oklahoma City Bombing. We've produced this sneak peak:
It was produced by KGOU, KOSU, and our partners with the Oklahoma Public Media Exchange. KGOU will re-air the documentary Saturday evening at 6 p.m., Sunday at noon, and Monday, April 20 at 11 a.m.
Sunday morning we also plan to air live coverage of the 20th anniversary remembrance ceremony live from Oklahoma City. KGOU's Jacob McCleland and Kate Carlton Greer will be downtown to file stories for our Newscast unit.
