Spring Fundraiser Now at $100,000 of $180,000 Goal

Doing my share of the heavy lifting, I support KGOU

March 30, 2015

This is from the Manager’s Desk.

I have an update for our third week of this non-traditional fundraiser. Our fundraising goal is $180,000, and as of Monday afternoon, the tally stands at about $100,000, with over 600 donors.  This is exciting!

The deal remains and when we reach the goal, this fundraising effort is over. The traditional fundraiser, with interruptions and lost programming starts in a few days and we want to end this before then. I am sure you would rather spend time listening to the whole program and not the fundraising requests.

Help us by acting now. Become a sustainer with a gift of 5, 10 or 20 dollars per month for the next year. Or renew your gift that you make each spring. Or make a donation to KGOU for the first time.

Do it online now at KGOU or send a check in the mail to KGOU, 860 Van Vleet Oval, Room 300, Norman, OK 73019.

From the Manager’s Desk, I’m Karen Holp.

Karen earned her Master (1974) and Bachelor (1972) degrees from the University of Akron in Ohio, and has worked as Program Director at WMRA-FM, James Madison University in Harrisonburg Virginia and WUIS-FM, University of Illinois at Springfield. She moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico in 1979 to become General Manager of KRWG-FM.
