State Results In The Runoff Election

State Senate District 8, in the Democratic runoff, Selina Jayne-Dornan defeated Gary Clason, 59.4% to 40.6%.

State Representative District 88 in the Democratic runoff, Jason Dunnington defeated Paula Sophia,50.6% to 49.4%, by a difference of 22 votes. Dunnington will take his House seat with no opponent in the November election.

State Representative District 89 in the Democratic runoff, Shane Stone defeated Mary Sosa, 60.7% to 39.3%. Stone will take his House seat with no opponent in the November election.

State Representative District 99 in the Democratic runoff, George Young defeated Eleanor Darden Thompson, 59.3% to 40.7%.

District Attorney, District 15 Democratic runoff, Orcil Loge defeated Larry Moore, 53.2% to 46.8%.

State Senator District 22 Republican runoff, Stephanie Bice defeated Mark Thomas, 53.1% to 46.9% and will take a seat in the next legislature with no Democratic opponent in the November election.

State Senator District 40 Republican runoff, Ervin Yen defeated Steve Kern, 65.2% to 34.8%.

State Representative District 29 Republican runoff, James Leewright defeated Dani Thompson-Fields, 51.9% to 48.1%.

State Representative District 38 Republican runoff, John Pfeiffer defeated Harold LeValley, 63.4% to 36.6%. Pfeiffer will take the House seat with no opponent in the November election.

State Representative District 43 Republican Runoff, John Paul Jordan defeated Jonathon Clour, 68.9% to 31.1%. Jordan will take the House seat with no opponent in the November election.

State Representative District 61 Republican Runoff, Casey Murdock defeated Kenny Bob Tapp, 59.5% to 40.5%.

State Representative District 65 Republic Runoff, Scooter Park defeated Scott Hayes, 53.7% to 46.3%.

State Representative District 69 Republican Runoff, Chuck Strohm defeated Melissa Abdo, 52.3% to 47.7%. Strohm will take his seat in the House with no opponent in the November election.

District Attorney District 14 Republic Runoff, Steve Kunzweiler defeated Fred Jordan, 55.7% to 44.3%.
