Welcome To KGOU's Newest Listener

KGOU's newest listener, Eleanor Claire Greer.
KGOU

September 20, 2015

This is from the Manager's Desk.

This week, I would like to introduce to you the newest listener to KGOU Radio. She is just now over a week old and is as cute as can be. She arrived September 12th at just under seven pounds, and 19 and three quarters inches long. I’ve got a photo of Eleanor Claire Greer on the Manager’s Desk at our web site.

And since Eleanor Claire is now here, her mom, Kate Carlton Greer will be absent from KGOU for a while. Kate is on maternity leave so she and her husband, Corbin, can get used to taking care of their new baby, and KGOU’s newest listener.

Congratulations to Kate and Corbin, and welcome to KGOU, Eleanor Claire!

And don’t forget to submit your audio of how you KGOU. You may think how you listen might not be special, but it is realistic. Look for more information at KGOU.org.

Thanks. From the Manager’s Desk, I’m Karen Holp.

Karen earned her Master (1974) and Bachelor (1972) degrees from the University of Akron in Ohio, and has worked as Program Director at WMRA-FM, James Madison University in Harrisonburg Virginia and WUIS-FM, University of Illinois at Springfield. She moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico in 1979 to become General Manager of KRWG-FM.
