After a four-year pursuit, the Oklahoma Attorney General's Office says it has secured $42,158 in restitution from a Texas man for Oklahoma victims of home repair fraud.

The office said Thursday that Randy Leroy Madewell of Danbury, Texas, was charged in 2010 with four felony counts of home repair fraud. Prosecutors say Madewell accepted more than $42,000 from seven homeowners for home repair and roofing work, but never started the projects. The projects were in Midwest City, Edmond and OklahomaCity.
