This is from the Manager’s Desk.

I hope this message finds you safe and well after the events of last week, and if you have been directly affected, that you are receiving the services needed to start the road to recovery.

I trust you've had the opportunity to hear or read the radio and online coverage from KGOU, StateImpact Oklahoma and NPR in the aftermath of the severe storms, and I hope you've found it to be enlightening and insightful.

That's why we're here. KGOU and StateImpact Oklahoma, in partnership with NPR, will continue to provide more coverage of the rebuilding as Oklahomans recover. There are many public policy questions to explore, and individual stories to hear.

We have a topic page specifically for tornado-related stories on KGOU, and a list of information you may wish to use to find services or to find ways to donate for our neighbors.

Thanks. From the Manager’s Desk, I’m Karen Holp.

Karen earned her Master (1974) and Bachelor (1972) degrees from the University of Akron in Ohio, and has worked as Program Director at WMRA-FM, James Madison University in Harrisonburg Virginia and WUIS-FM, University of Illinois at Springfield. She moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico in 1979 to become General Manager of KRWG-FM.
