With the still unsolved slaying of a pastor inside her Anadarko church now four years old, another pastor in the city says he's gotten a concealed carry permit and sometimes carries his weapon even when delivering his sermon.

Friday marks the fourth anniversary of the death of Carol Daniels inside Christ Holy Sanctified Church. There have been no arrests or suspects identified in the case, which the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigationsays remains open.

Rev. Brian Ball says he was preaching three blocks away when Daniels was killed. He says the case helped motivate him to acquire a conceal carry permit and that he regularly carries a weapon when alone in his church.

Daniels' mother — Charles Etta Dunlap — says she remains optimistic the case will be solved.
