This is from the Manager's Desk. On Wednesday, Oct. 21, at 5:54 p.m., the Fall 2015 Fund Drive came to an end. When we added it all up, listeners donated over $201,000.
Nearly three-quarters of the total was donated in the first three weeks of regularly scheduled announcements while the final third or so was raised in the three days of program interruptions.
Over 100 new donors contributed and nearly 1,300 listeners renewed!
Thank you to the phone volunteers, and to our food donors – Chuy’s and Gaberino’s of Norman and Ingrid’s Kitchen of Oklahoma City.
And my hat is off to the great KGOU staff – those who create the programming that you support, and to the staff who support those who create the programming. It is a team effort.
