The chair of the Oklahoma Legislative Black Caucus, Anastasia Pittman, announced today in a press release that a “Health Care for Working Families” town hall meeting will take place September 3rd.
Topics will include the recently released LeavittReport, Medicaid expansion and the Affordable Health Care Act. The meeting will take place from 6-8 p.m. at Fairview Baptist Church located at 1700 N.E. 7th Street.
Pittman said this town hall meeting will go over the Affordable Health Care Act and the pros and cons of accepting the Medicaid expansion. The meeting will include representatives from the Oklahoma Health Care Authority, the Oklahoma Hospital Association, the Oklahoma Policy Institute, the Oklahoma State Department of Healthand the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce.
